Woman in Black Jacket c. 1917

This is such an interesting piece.  It makes you wonder about the subject - what is her story?  

Painted by New Zealand artist Raymond McIntyre in the early 20th Century, her softened features glow with a stunning rendition of light and shadow.  

Canvas mounted on board with a traditional profile faming. We love canvas on board as it gives the piece an authentic, original feel.

• Large: Outside Dimensions 17" x 23" with Traditional Black Frame with Gold Detail
