Chinoiserie 1890 Framed Canvas Panels

These historical wallpaper Chinoiserie panels are stunning!  Taken from the European interpreted Chinese style that was coined Chinoiseries, the Italians, English and French used these designs on furniture, porcelain, fabrics and wallpaper. These pieces are impressive alone but truly shine in a grouping of panels.

Priced individually and available in two different colours, these pieces are impressive alone but truly shine in a grouping of panels.  The 3 different wallpaper scenes feature fine birds, flowers and bamboo against a worn surface - adding a perfectly imperfect note.  

Framed in a modern wood floating frame, each piece creates the illusion of the artwork floating inside, rather than being completely enclosed by the frame.  This creates a three-dimensional effect and enhances the visual impact of the art.  The charcoal prints are framed in a soft champagne coloured wood frame and the pastel prints are framed in a gently worn white wood frame (please see pictures of frames).
