Antique White Ironstone Tureen Covered Serving Dish

This Antique Tureen or Covered Serving Dish is a beautiful piece of Ironstone China, crafted by J. & G. Meakin in Hanley, England.  The Royal Arms mark dates back to the 1860's or 1870's.  Its exquisite embossed grapevine and hops design and high-quality white ironstone make this piece perfect for any collection.   The piece is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips.  There are a few blemishes - one on the handle and another on the lid - but are consistent with the age of the piece.
