Chinoiserie Panels C. 1890 in Charcoal - Large Framed Prints

These delicate Chinoiserie panels are stunning!  Taken from the European interpreted Chinese style that was coined Chinoiseries, the Italians, English and French used these designs on furniture, porcelain, fabrics and wallpaper. These pieces are impressive alone but truly shine in a grouping of panels.

These 3 different wallpaper scenes feature fine birds, flowers and bamboo against a worn surface - adding a perfectly imperfect note.  

Framed in a softly textured ivory frame, the minimal look does not detract from the beauty of the image.
