• Adama rugs are very practical and easy to clean using a broom, mop or wet cloth.

• The rugs are suitable for use in shaded outdoor areas, but you need to avoid direct exposure to sunlight. 
• While these rugs are anti-slip, they are not designed for use in wet environments.

Shipping Time Frames

Given the truly extensive number of patterns, colours and sizes of Adama rugs (there are approximately 2700 options listed on our website), we are unable to stock them all in our small boutique in Toronto.  We do, however, have samples of all the rugs available to see and to borrow along with a pretty significant collection of rugs (in smaller sizes) for immediate purchase.  

We have sadly realized that it is statistically unlikely that we will have your specific choice of rug in stock and so most purchases are made to order.  While Adama is a Spanish company, they have recently opened a manufacturing facility in the US to serve the North American market.  

Actual production of the rug is about 2 weeks but shipping and admin can add another 1 to 2 weeks to that time frame. All in all, you can expect your rug to arrive in about 3 to 4 weeks.

International Shipping

If you are ordering from the US, your rug will ship directly to you from the Adama facility and as it is not crossing the border, there are no fees, duties or extra costs to consider.  We will email you a shipping notice with the tracking information once it ships so that you can monitor the delivery from the courier.  Adama ships the rugs with Fed Ex. 

Canadian Shipping

If you have ordered from Canada, the rugs are usually shipped to us here in Toronto.  For larger or custom sizes or depending on where you live in Canada, we sometimes arrange for Adama to ship directly to you.  If that is the case, we will still email you a shipping notice with the tracking information once it ships so that you can monitor the delivery from Fed Ex. 

For all other orders, once the rugs have arrived here in Toronto will will notify you if you wanted to pick them up or we will ship them to you from here.  We will email you a shipping notice with the tracking information once it ships so that you can monitor delivery from the courier.  Depending on where you live in Canada we use UPS, Fed Ex, Canpar, Purolator, and ICS.   

Damaged Items and Returns

We want you to be delighted with your Adama rug and we are here to help (by email at hello@homesmithhouse.com or by phone at 416-484-3702) should anything not go as planned with your purchase.  Should there be an errors in production or damage to your rug, we will arrange with Adama to replace the rug as quickly as possible at no cost to you. 

You have 30 days to notify us of your return.  All rugs must be returned in the same box and in unused, like new condition.   Once you notify us that you would like to return your purchase, we will send you a shipping label for the return and you can let us know if you'd like the courier to pick up the return or if you'd prefer to leave it at a Courier drop off point. 

Once we receive the rug, we will process the refund and email you a detailed confirmation.  Refunds will show on your credit card statement within 5 to 8 business days of processing.  Return shipping is your responsibility and the cost will be deducted from your credit. 

Please Note:  Rugs larger than 60 cm x 180 cm are subject to a 25% re-stocking fee.
