Antique White Ironstone Covered Serving Dish

Discover the beauty and history of British tableware with this Antique White Ironstone Covered Serving Dish. Crafted by W.H. Grindley & Co in England, this rare piece of white embossed ironstone is marked with the Royal Ironstone China crest that reads Honi Soit Qui Mal y Pense which translates to "shame be who thinks evil of it". 

Grindley ironstone manufactured between 1891 and 1925 is identified with this mark with this piece originating at the beginning of the period in the 1890's. 

This piece is in excellent overall condition with one small chip on the inside edge of the lip of the bowl.
