In her latest capsule collection for Dash and Albert, Bunny Williams was inspired by the unique geometric Kuba weaving of central Africa. The Senna dhurrie weave wool rug has parallel motifs of back to back black filled zig zags woven on a solid natural undyed ivory ground.

HOW IT'S MADE: Kilims are weft-created patterns that are always geometric. Colour changes in the pattern are crafted by knotting or interweaving. Knotting creates an "open" weave that gives more definition and dimension to the pattern; interweaving creates a softer pattern with intermingled colours.

• Regular vacuuming and the occasional gentle shake will keep these rugs looking their best.
