Why do we love this?  Because when Sir/Madam set out to create an authentic brass collection based on vintage favourites, they knew they did not want the "finish" or lightweight alloy that many encouraged them to use.  They wanted the weight in hand... and the substance, durability and warm burnished patina that develops over time.  Their metalsmiths  use solid, sand-cast, unlacquered brass, with all of the subtleties and wabi-sari imperfections inherent to the process.  

The simple lines and minimal ornamentation of this letter keep is indicative of the Arts and Crafts prototype that inspired it.  Ideal for organizing photos, stamps and stationery, it also serves as a stylish napkin holder.  

We love that it brings us back to a time when letter writing mattered.  And it encourages us to do more of it.
